Veronika has painted since childhood, greatly supported by her architect Grandfather. As the years progressed memories of her conversations with him carry a high resonance and he remains the strongest influence on her life.
Veronika studied at the College of Arts in Leningrad followed by classes in the USSR Academy of Arts.
She and her partner Ulian Benoni initially became artistic jewellery silversmiths and pieces were sold in jewellery boutiques in Moscow and Leningrad.
They eventually moved to Prague due to the political instability of the Soviet Union where Veronika began painting pictures strongly influenced by old Prague with its fascinating streets and architecture.
In 1998 she established her own school of graphics and painting and also her own gallery in central Prague. Some reputable and well known painters who are past graduates of the Benoni school are now quickly establishing their names in the central European art world
